Dearest Rachel,

I loved your episode and was so moved by how you went into each issue and so sensitively unpicked the problems and helped me make sense of them. You are amazing and I cannot thank you enough.

I am writing with great news that my daughter visited a local state school with her dad on an Open Day and was really impressed with it. We received a phone call today that she has been accepted! I really feel this will be a step in the right direction towards our values and I think she will find her tribe in this school. You are so right at this age you just want to fit in. (even better this school has a mandatory backpack so no fancy shopper allowed!)

My parenting is definitely a work in progress and it is humbling how hard it is. It really is the hardest most relentless but most rewarding job of all and it is those moments of joy that we hold on to. It feels wonderful to share one of my lowest lows with you and now a real high. What a rollercoaster ride this is.

Thank you so much for everything you do and know that you really are both making a huge difference to parents who just think they are failing their kids. That shift in perspective and rooting in values and the long game really helps.
